The third installment in the Pop Ambient series is my least favorite yet. Not that there aren't any good songs, in fact, some of these tunes are absolutely incredible, but others had me reach for the remote. Klimek's Milk & Honey might sound pleasant enough at first, but I grow weary of the lack of change and the tune has a new age feel which gets on my nerves after a while (and I am usually very tolerant with the gray zone between ambient and new age). He does redeem himself later on with the incredible Sun(rise). The same goes with Markus Guentner's work; his Express Yourself sounds quite muddy while Chrom feels angelic in comparison. Only Lohmann maintains the same high quality work he has displayed so far. My favorite track of the album however is the simple yet effective Buenos Amigos by Leandro Fresco, the vocal melody and plucked strings are incredibly beautiful.
