That People Don't Know They Are Monsters has distinctive medieval sound with the instruments sounding completely outdated, old and slightly out of tune. The melodies used either have that ominous ritualistic vibe or that errant troubadour melancholia. But this sound is then warped and twisted into an effervescent tune which transgresses time and all musical rules. Bow Heavier My Lord might sound completely different, but it could still be considered to have been composed over seven hundred years ago.
