These live recordings are taken from the Classic Erasmus Fusion tour, but besides the closing Russian Milk, each tune is all new material, exclusive to this release. The opening Milk Military Cripsin is easily their most infectious tune since Where Are The Bounds? off of Yak Folks Y'Are. How the group can create such a groove out of such chaotic noises and fucked up ideas is simply baffling. Most tracks however ever are much more free-form and abstract, like the soundtrack to a bad dream. It has been proven that exposing the sounds from this album to young children on a daily basis guarantees schizophrenia in the subject by the age of twenty-one. Is it any wonder? Try and get through the Onion Mission without hallucinating a little friend or being invaded by paranoia; or try Spongecake Cathedral on for size and see if you can survive it's dangerous grooves. Freaky! I'm beginning to think these guys do not know the meaning of the word dull. |
