My first, and still favorite Volcano The Bear release to date. Volseptor would be the perfect place to start to hear the band if it weren't for the fact that this album is so difficult to find. They are at their most creative, enchanting and weird here; it simply must be heard to be believed. The record starts off with the brain-damaging Oslo Top! Those loud distorted yelps, that quirky bass line and the slide whistle madness is sure to cause involuntary concussions in whoever listens to it. Reah's Mort is another highlight with it's seasick background noise, you seriously need to take pills in order to keep your balance just listening to this song! There is not a single miss on this record, even the absolutely confusing Kindly is a highlight. The track is merely more than a single sample repeated at different speeds, but it succeeds in messing with your mind within a few seconds. Good luck making it out of this one!
