The album's opening track is a great (but very cheesy) electro-prog intro with background choirs; all dark and mysterious. A french narrator with a deep voice ends the track babbling on about evil angels, Satan and other occult things. Not very scary no! But things actually do get scarier on the second track as it successfully congers up images of hissing demons and a descent to the fiery pits of hell. Interesting, but when things get really far-out is on the third track. A totally unexpected tribal-industrial electronic track which could easily be mistaken for a Nitzer Ebb track had any vocals come in. It's definitely the best track on the album. The next three tracks are once again on the creepy side. Could be the soundtrack to a black mass or the sacrifice of children. Aurore closes the album on a more soothing note with it's birds, chimes and organ arpeggios. My personal favorite Wakhevitch album.
