Album Cover

Wakhevitch's "synth" album. Not that synthesizers weren't included on albums before, but this one is almost exclusively synth. It sounds very much like Klaus Schulze at times. The twenty plus minute title track doesn't sound very original if you are already familiar with Schulze's work and especially not if you compare it to Wakhevitch's earlier work. The second track, a four minute long ambient xylophone track, could have been included on Nagual. Eriador, the second longest track, is mostly bleeps and buzzes in a proggy environment, nothing special really. The true gem on the album is the last track. A piece played on a reverb drenched piano. It slowly shifts into less interesting electronic noodling, but the beautiful intro makes up for it. Definitely check out the other albums before this one (it's included in the box anyway). And just what is that cover supposed to represent!?
