I won't discuss the point of collecting each and every Wolf Eyes releases as there are just too many; but which ever one you get, you can be pretty sure it's going to sound great... if you're into noise gone wrong that is. This one is no exception. Listening to this album is the equivalent of listening to a power station having a major breakdown and hearing people at work trying to repair it. Feel free to create your own scenario. There is a fascinating almost silent passage around the seventeen minute mark on the first track which lasts a good two minutes! The second track is more of the same, but it never gets boring. At fourteen minutes, the song sort of breaks apart and it sounds like the band is trying to figure out what's wrong, pulling wires, bashing the equipment in order to fix it! Definitely one of the greatest noise acts today. First released in 2002 on LP, the CD version was released in 2004.
