I'm Gonna Take You Home is Yahowha 13's heaviest album to date. There have been heavy moments during their earlier sidelong jams before, but this album just plain kicks ass all the way. The songs are more dynamic and focused then they have ever been. When the toms kick in a minute or so into the first track (all are untitled), I dare you not to tap your feet and turn up the volume. Every album with the Yod-man hanging around behind the microphone seem to be the ones that increase the weird and out-there factor. On song number three for example, Father Yod seems to believe he is an insect of some sort, buzzing and yelping along with the trilling and snaky guitar notes. It's totally insane! The two last tracks sound more like improvised jams, but are no less heavy. A great starting place and the sound quality is also much improved compared to the other albums in the box set.
