Album Cover

As the last CD in the box set, Unreleased Materials picks up odds an ends from lost or forgotten recordings. Even the songs are no less psychedelic then on earlier albums, it still feels quite uneven (but what were you to expect from this kind of collection). When comparing a track like the experimental, mantra-like It's All In The Breath and the almost radio-friendly The Love You Sow you are faced with the two very different faces of the community's recording career. I'm making it sound bad, but there is some really great stuff on here too, but unlike the Related Singles, there is no flow between the songs. The second to last track includes snippets of ceremonial chanting made by the family. The last track is Sky Sunlight Saxon explaining the ideals of the family and delivering a personal message about wolves being here before man and dogs (God) being his favorite animal. You must love one another.
